PSLE Science written papers run from 24 to 30 September 2026, with listening comprehension on 15 September. The MOE calendar confirms it. This week starts the final month, and the September holidays (5 to 13 September) are the last real block of study time before the exams.
Science is the subject parents find hardest to coach. The topics are familiar enough: plants, the water cycle, electricity, the human body. But the open-ended questions are unforgiving. A child can know the science cold and still lose marks for writing a "state" answer when the question wanted an "explain", or for leaving out the keywords the marker is looking for.
The good news: ChatGPT, the free chatbot you probably already use for work, can handle the drill work at home. It generates practice questions, explains concepts in words a 12-year-old understands, and gives feedback on written answers. It does not replace school feedback, and it must never be used during the exam itself. This is home revision, done honestly.
